Evolution de Jersey

Is there a more dynamic racer in town than Keith Johnson? I tried to run down photos of his full Evolution de Jersey, but alas I fell short. I have no record of his Cane Creek or Navy team jerseys. Anyway, here's a sample:

(right) Nope, not an 80's photo, rather circa 1997. Keith (second from left) was still in the Navy then, racing sometimes with Navy colors and sometimes in his local team Conte's gear as shown here. Bikevoice will display YOUR team jersey front and center if you can tell me names of each person in this photo!

There's Keith racing in 2000 Ford Cycling Classic with HCC/ Conte's team kit. (Photo by Bob Devich)

Keith is known as "legs" in the underground of women's cycling. I think Pam Raines started it, and you can see why it stuck. That's his Atlantic Velo kit circa 2003.

Sure, I'm biased, but I guarantee this crash was not Keith's fault. Viable display of the first version of SR Racing jersey 2007 at Southside Speedway in Richmond. (Photo by JB)

Reaching back to his Carolina and Cane Creek roots, Keith has raced for the regional Carolina Master's team in 2008. Great blog reading about the team here.

We sometimes find him locally in LeBleu-SR Racing gear. Interesting that he's followed here by Bob Collins whose Evolution de Jersey has been various in-house versions of Virginia Beach Velo over the same years that Keith has been racing. Even when they had to turn them inside out. . . but that's another blog post!

What's in YOUR evolution?

Bill, that was not a dig at your team on my part, more an interesting detail about a jersey from years past. Shoot, your team won the race that Keith and Bob are shown in. What's funny is that a "red team" history would be extremely interesting to those who have not been around since wooden wheels as you would say. I will do one, not uncommissioned of course!

I know 4 of 5:
Carol, Keith Drew and Rob. Not sure of the last one.

Hey Bill, you just missed Mike Kernals on the far left! I actually did not know "Rob" but I will take your word for it.
